WHAT IS YAP?

The Young Adults Program (YAP) is a live-in Christian Family Movement (CFM) weekend program for young people designed by the late Fr. Ben Carlos, SJ. It was borne of the need to reach out to a growing number of single young adults. Since evangelization, specifically family evangelization, is the main thrust of CFM programs, YAP was created for young adults to meet their spiritual needs and the demand to partake in a family life apostolate. The prograam and its enrichment sessions aim to help the young adults be open to the possibilities for a meaningful life assessment.

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF YAP?

1.  To gain greater situational sensitivity, role
flexibility and mature responsiveness

2.  To have a wider perspective of self, family and community

3.  To attain a more significant appreciation of other people through effective communication.

4. To attain a purposeful direction through
self-reflection and prayer5.  To make God the center of his/her life6.  To plan a more meaningful life

IS THE YAP WEEKEND A PROBLEM SOLVING WEEKEND?
